Grandparents visit!

My in laws are amazing and we love having them visit!

Baby girl always loves Grandma and Granddaddy coming to see her!

And I love the break I get while they are here!  She wants to play with them instead of me!  YAY

Did you hear me?

YAY!!!!!!!

It is always so awesome to see my husband, with his parents, and our child together.  I get all these sappy feelings about the whole things honestly.  Honestly look at this picture.  Grandma just jumped right now and baby girl was all about her!

And this one just warmed my heart a whole lot.  This was taken after lunch of father's day.  Husband's dad, husband, and baby girl... hand in hand walking happily.  Even looking at these photos today while writing this I'm all chocked up.  This is a legacy.  This is the legacy we want to leave our child/ren.  This is the happiness and family we want to provide.

And let's be honest.  This was my happiness too.  After lunch one day, daddy was back at work and the kiddo was ready for nap.  So grandma and granddaddy offered to stay home with the kid while I went to the big red bullseye by myself!  BY MYSELF!  And I got a Frappuccino AND a rice krispie treat.  And I didn't have to share!!!

And it was heaven.  Heaven.

We miss the grandparents when they go home.  But we had such an amazing visit with them and look forward to next time!

Another round of pretties

Just reminding everyone to stop and look at the flowers again.

They are beautiful this time of year.

There isn't really much to say... just enjoy the pictures and enjoy the pretties all around you.

Take in nature for all she's worth and remember to protect her.

and we are back!

The computer lives!  Which means I can get back to blogging regularly again!

YAY!

Oh come on, you know you wanna say yay with me!

That said, this post is merely to tell you I'm back, but nothing more substantial.

The grandparents just left and baby girl is having a rough afternoon missing her people.

But look for upcoming blogs about the grandparents, father's day, baby girl's THIRD (3rd) birthday, and so much more!

I'm sure I'll throw a garden update in there too because I know how much you all love it ;-)

I can't wait!

A little interruption

holy computer issues batman...

Basically my computer is down.  I cannot access stuff I need to make exciting blog posts.

So instead of giving you shitty posts with no pictures, I am opting to take a little break from blogging.

I have great things lined up for when everything is working again (or we have a new one) but until then, enjoy looking back over old posts!

And know that we are rocking out over here with the garden.

And getting ready for baby girl's THIRD birthday!  How the fuck that happen?

Anyway, sorry for the interruption, but I will be back as soon as I can!

A nice quiet park

It's very nice outside lately!  Which means it's park days.  We look forward to our weekly stand
ing park date and getting to explore more parks around where we live.

As it stands, baby girl is enjoying being outside.

And she sleeps SO well when we go to the park.

We really should do it more often.

This particular park is a pay park.  We paid a small nominal fee for parking and then have access to the park.

It was perfect.  Because no one wants to pay when there are so many free parks everywhere!

But you wanna know a secret?

I'll pay.

Every time.

In order to enjoy the quiet park experience.

It's not that I don't enjoy the loud, rambunctious park!  I absolutely do on most days!

But sometimes, I just want to watch my kid play without being run over.

Or pushed down.

Or shoved out of the way by a bigger kid.

Because like it or not, my kiddo isn't ever going to be the biggest kid on the playground.

And that factors in to her positive experiences at the park.

So we went to the pay park and had a blast with a friend.

And we played hard on the playground.

And walked around the pond and threw rocks in.

And weren't chased off by anyone or any thing.

We got to enjoy the quiet.

I love these park days and I'm so excited for the rain to finally stop so we can go outside again.
